Relax,enjoy and learn something about a fascinating business.. The origins and development of UK army radar to 1946 / D.H. Kummritz; 15. Bowen; 22. A. B. Molyneux-Berry; 5. This book is apparently targeted at younger people (say ages 8 to 18), and it covers topics such as aqueducts, irrigation, water towers, dams, waterwheels, mills, canals, locks, dikes, levees, seawalls, and failures of these facilities.

Commensurate with the intended audience, the technical level of the book isn't high, and some of the technical explanations are too unclear, but I think the book still succeeds in providing basic information while making the subject matter engaging.

The book clearly isn't intended for professionals, but they might still get something out of it (I did).

I wish the book was better in some ways, but I can still recommend it, especially since I don't know of any better book at thi
