The pages in the hardcover are heavy paper and not easily torn by little fingers. It came within a few days and that was via the normal shipping selection. But the difficulty of following the exercises takes it way outside of the beginner's realm. Sassy Sarah had an amazing life as a singer and entertainer. She had to be the dumbest person I've ever encountered in a book. I'm working with it. Knowing him gave me the "push" to read his book because I am a devout Christian & normally would not have read a book like this. While I think this bood definitely has merit and is a very good guide for someone starting up in the restaurant business, I think it is overpriced. Wish there was more of this kind of literature being published.. We loved it!! The action words and bright pictures make it perfect for our toddler :). The study guide is basically a thorough revie
