A faraway kingdom.
A brave warrior.
An unexpected danger.
An ancient secret.
A desperate plan.
Fear is running rampant in Bariwon. The people of a small village near the northern mountains have vanished. Newly commissioned royal guardian Snapdragon is sent with a scouting party to investigate. His responsibility is to protect the non-soldiers, including Seraphina, a stunning young nursemaid. When the party arrives, they make a shocking discovery. During the chaos that follows, Snapdragon discovers his feelings toward Seraphina are more than protective. Soon, he is forced to make difficult choices that will impact the future of everyone in Bariwon.
Editorial : With a touch of romance, this action adventure novel is amazing. A great book for both kids and adults. I had it read within twenty-four hours. I couldn't put it down. You are cheering for the characters throughout as they battle the effects of one wicked king in their fight to restore liberty and justice to the people of Bariwon. This book visited my thoughts long after I closed the cover! --Kelly Nelson, author of The Keeper's Calling
I love the way Morgan uses symbolism. His characters are well developed and easy to love and root for. I found I really cared about what happened to them and to their beloved kingdom of Bariwon. --Angie Lofthouse, author of Defenders of the Covenant
This book is JUNK. This is one of the worst college textbooks I have used. My one reason for not giving it a 5 star rating. But the not so recognizable names really sale this book. This rare text gives world context for literature, a feat that rarely occurs. This book is captivating. It has lots of charts, which are easy to read; this is not a full color coffee table volume. The determined and headstrong main character along with the unique theme had me riveted until the last page.. She has the memories and experiences of an adult and, she believes, the strategies to change her past.
Francesca Ross. Stodola; 38. I think this is a must read for anyone in a leadership position.. I looked further
