Editorial : About the Author Dawn Marie Vachon has lived a life full of culture, heritage, and creativity. Born in a Quonset hut in Pusan Korea on the Hialeah compound, she is the product of a third-generation army lieutenant colonel and an ex-beauty queen, and comes from a long line of eccentric women. Vachon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a concentration in radio and television. She is supposed to be able to handle emergencies, but if I was in danger and it was up to her to save me I'm pretty sure I'd be doomed because she'd be sending robbers to save me instead of the police.
