It’s a New Day chronicles the rise of women and African American evangelists in the independent charismatic movement in post-World War II America. Billingsley observes  current figures such as T. D. Jakes, Joyce Meyer, and Creflo Dollar, who were deeply influenced by charismatic pioneers Oral Roberts and Kenneth Hagin. The evangelists adopted their ministry-building and prosperity gospel tactics and are notable for megachurches, televangelism, and health-and-wealth doctrines. The modern charismatic movement has grown far more sophisticated and has become a truly international phenomenon, and Pentecostals and charismatics hold a wide variety of views on race and gender.  Charismatic women ministers take to the pulpit, manage publishing empires, and lead the faithful in modern America. Similarly, both black and white charismatic ministers preach to integrated churches and hold integrated revivals, even while racial divides endure in the larger society. It&r

Editorial :  “Scott Billingsley does a good job of explaining who people are and how they relate in the modern charismatic movement. The world he describes is richly textured and enormously influential and the biographical sketches point readers toward an understanding of the origins and development of the movement.”

Radar development in the Netherlands before the war / Ir. Burns; 8. This book is a good tour of both the state of the art, as well as a tour of some of the unanswered questions.. Burns; 2. I'm not exactly a grease monkey. Erickson; 17. My only complaint at all (not a serious one) is in the text on the dust jacket stating how The 400 traveled through Black River Falls. Williams; 23. The history of the italian radio detector telemetro / Professor M. Dodington; 31. In fact, I'm not great with car repairs in general but with this book I actually upgraded my skils from non-existent to pretty good. This book is apparently targeted at younger people (say ages 8 to 18), and it covers topics such as aqueducts, irrigation, water towers, dams, waterwheels, mills, canals, locks, dikes, levees, seawalls, and failures of these facilities.

Commensurate with the intended audience, the technical level of the book isn't high, and some of the technical explanations are too unclear, but I think
